The client owns a premiere property on Toorak road, one of the most prestigious locations in Melbourne. While the family enjoys a natural lawn in the front and back of their property, they were looking for maintenance free green solutions for their rooftop garden.
With a vision for a sleek English Evergreen Hedge on the rooftop that added a boundary to the periphery, we knew just the right product.
The property owner and their maintenance expert desired an artificial green solution that does not create any type of water leakage complications in the near future. As most rooftop gardens need extensive maintenance not just to keep natural plants thriving, but also from a waterproofing perspective to avoid leakage into the walls of the home below.
Such water and soil related complications make way for our artificial green solutions. Designer Vertical Gardens’ wide range of artificial plant garden varieties were considered for this project. A solution was sought that brings a consistent and classy look to the rooftop garden of this property.
The property owner and their family decided to go ahead with the very classic and popular Boxwood Artificial Hedge. All our products are UV stabilised, installing these in uncovered areas that faced direct sunlight for the entire day was not a worry.
Our product’s life-like appearance brings the greenery to life under the sun and adds a mystical backlit touch to their rooftop at night. From one corner of the rooftop to the other, the Boxwood Hedge creates a consistent line of artificial greenery that brings out character and sophistication.
The Boxwood Hedge takes up little of your time to set up and is extremely easy to install. Once installed, you can decide to move it to another location easily as well. The addition of our range of artificial hedges does not necessarily need to be part of the initial plan as it requires very little to be secured in place.
